Lemons
Lemons are a remarkable fruit. Lemons help strengthen the immune system, purify your blood, and cleanse your stomach. Lemons contain flavonoids, which are composites that contain antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
They can help prevent diabetes, constipation, high blood pressure, fever, indigestion, as well as improve the skin, hair, and teeth. Drinking lemon juice is helpful for people suffering from heart problems because it contains potassium, which can help with high blood pressure. They can also control dizziness and nausea as lemons provide a calming sensation to both the mind and body. Lemons are commonly used to reduce mental stress and depression.
A mixture of lemon juice and water has been a great, refreshing alternative for when I decided to cut caffeine out of my diet. The mixture, sipped throughout the day, provides me with clean energy and calm demeanor, allowing me to accomplish my work responsibilities.
When possible, I enjoy juicing fresh lemons and saving the peels. I’ll then bring four cups of water to boil, adding six lemon peels. After three to four minutes, I’ll remove the peels letting the infused water sit for 10 to 15 minutes or until warm, and then add a little honey. This makes for a soothing beverage. This drink is remarkably helpful and works as a great revival on those Saturday or Sunday mornings. The natural energizing oil of lemons with warm water and honey is a real treat.
